Fire in local home contained to chimney

This fire took place a few weeks ago at one of our local residential properties. In the “Before” picture, it shows where the fire began. Fortunately, the fire could have been much worse. This local fire was contained to one room on the first floor. It mostly affected the brick that connects to the chimney. Bricks can catch fire but they are not flammable by any means. After fire runs over brick, it reacts by looking very charred. In this case, SERVPRO came to this local residential home and repaired the location that the fire attacked. These pictures show the initial repairs to the wall made by our SERVPRO team. After the job is done, SERVPRO makes it look like, “It never even happened.”
